Making most out of College - How to get a 1 year subscription of Alteryx Desginer

So, Alteryx is one of the tools that has been in shadow for quite some time but has recently gained a lot of value in the market. Have a look at the below trend to get some perspective of what I am talking about.

Alteryx is a very expensive tool and you might be ready to spend money on this just to learn.

If you are a student then there is something you can do get a free access to the tool for 1 year. 

Follow below steps

1. Goto https://community.alteryx.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/Alteryx-for-Good

2. You will be navigated to this page. This is community page of Alteryx dedicated for good causes. Alteryx has been a secret donor for a lot of good cause and they believe education is one of them. 

Click on the highlighted apply now.

3. You will get this form.

Fill up your details. Make sure you use your university email id and select student for this. 

Be prepared to express your reason on what do you intend to do with Alteryx. I hope if you are at this page then you already have a strong reason. 

4. For some reason, I got a blank flyout ( maybe because I am have already applied for it) but you should be getting a confirmation page. If you don't

• Check your mail. You should get an email from alteryxforgood@alteryx.com in your inbox. If not then check in junk email, University website usually marks such email as [Marketing] or Spam.
  
• If you did not get this email, then try creating an account on Alteryx community and repeat above steps.
• You might have to wait for some time for email. Wait for about 1 day.

5. This email is just a confirmation. You should keep an eye on another email from alteryx_products@alteryx.com which has the license key. I got the second email after 1 day but if you do not get in 1 day, I would suggest waiting for 3-5 days
